Netflix's Vir Das Starrer Web Series Hasmukh In To Problem , High Court Seeks Response

Netflix's new web series Hasmukh is looking at difficulties. A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking a ban on the telecast of the series, which has been filed in the Delhi High Court on the web series of comedians and actors Veer Das starrer. Petitioner Ashutosh Dubey has objected to the comments made on the character of lawyers. On Monday, the court has sought a written reply from the makers while sunai in the case.

According to news agency PTI, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva of the Delhi High Court heard the case. He has sought a written reply from Netflix, web series producers and director. The court said, the order on the interim stay on the telecast of web series will be pronounced later. On behalf of Netflix, Shri Krishna Rajagopal has favoured. The next hearing in the case will now be on 7th July.

In the fourth episode of Hasmukh series, some scenes have been objected to. In the court, lawyer Ashutosh Dubey has filed a petition. He has claimed that in episode four of the webseries, lawyers are allegedly shown as thieves, abusers and goons. He has appealed to the web series producers, directors and writers to seek unconditional apology from the lawyer community (including judges who have ever been lawyers). Further, there is a demand for an interim stay on the telecast of web series.

Veer Das starrer Web series Hasmukh was released during the lockdown on Netflix. Apart from Veer Das, actors like Manoj Pava, Ranvir Shourie and Ravi Kishan are instrumental. The web series has narrated the story of a stand-up comedian named Hasmukh. He becomes a star in Mumbai city from Saharanpur. But the difficulties do not leave him chasing. The web series is currently included in Netflix top-10.
